Family Connections brings together our home and community-based programs: Outpatient Psychiatric Services (OPS), Family Solutions for Kids (FSK) and Foster Care Case Management. These diverse programs provide important services to children and their families and are done both in our offices and in families’ homes.
Outpatient Psychiatric Services
ECH’s Outpatient Psychiatric Services provide a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan, along with medication management for children by board-certified child psychiatrists. Thanks to grants from the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund and Franklin County Community Resource Board, children ages four to 19 who live in St. Louis County and Franklin County receive services for free.
Family Solutions for Kids
Family Solutions for Kids (FSK) is a program designed to help parents and children who are facing challenges in their family functioning. The program is funded through grants from the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund and the Franklin County Community Resource Board in collaboration with Every Child’s Hope and Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services of Missouri.
Foster Care Case Management
ECH serves as case manager for foster children in the St. Louis metropolitan area, Franklin County, Central Missouri and Southeast Missouri. Case workers search for the right foster family for each child, then continues to follow their progress to ensure their safety and well-being. They also work toward permanency plans with each child.
